Tonight I went to dinner with my dad, and
some of his work friends. It was interesting and fun! The restaurant we
went to was a small Italian place literally 3 minutes from our house,
and the food was just fantastic! We got dressed up, and it was fun being
included on kind of what seemed like a business dinner. The men with my
dad were so kind, and you can tell the respect they had for my father
just beaming off of them. I know they were looking forward to this
dinner because they told my dad that they feel honored he is taking the
time to go to dinner with them. After two bottles of wine, the laughter
and conversation went in all kinds of different directions. We got home
not too late, and went to bed pretty early. After all, tomorrow we are
taking off for Orlando, and so we need to be in good form. :)
