This morning I woke up to a cloudy, gloomy day. I was upset, because the thought that meant we couldn't go to the Springs. Tony was not having it, and we decided to go anyway.
The Springs are one of my favorite places. Every time I go, I always say, "I need to come here more often" but never follow through. But I am going to say it again. I need to go there more often! Not only are the Springs beautiful and fun, but they are a definite mood changer. I snorkeled into the cave, which is more than fun. After a few practice runs, I was able to hold my breath longer each time. I once had enough time to look around and take it all in. It's pretty incredible in there. I did have quite a wonderful day with my love, and some good friends of his. I also saw my Heather for her birthday. Glad a made the trip, and ignored the early morning clouds.
Highlight: Being out in Nature, and seeing an old friend, Heather, for her birthday! Even if it was only for a few minutes.
Low-light: The rain that came not long after this picture was taken, although it did bring a nice ambiance to the day.
