Today was the last day of school with my little ones. It was a bitter sweet kind of day. As told by the weather. Gloomy, yet clam and nice. I am happy to see them go and move on, but I am sad to see them go and move on. I am not so sure if I even understand those emotions. I had a few students who were upset about leaving. I think they were just more anxious than anything else. Some were pretty stoked to hear that bell. I know I was. The luau with Ms. Brunge's class went well, although party days seem fun in theory but are way more stressful than I thought they would be. I guess parties at school are only fun for the kids. :( But, I did enjoy dancing the Macarena, and doing the limbo with my kids. It was an overall pretty awesome day.
