Today I went back to work. The students were ready for field day, and I was ready to get the day over with. The year is almost over, and the kids are over it. I have had more behavior problems now than all year put together. My drive however made me feel at ease. I love when I'm driving, and a sense of peace comes over me. The scenery mixed with the uninterrupted thought processes that occur on long drives is very relaxing. Not that my work is far, but it was far enough today. Now, my Tony is cooking for me, as I blog away. Life is good...for now.
Highlight: Winning tug-of-war with my class today at field day!
Low-light: Seeing everyone pack their things, and knowing tomorrow is a day full of goodbyes.
